two [video/action for Route 39 area]
[Oh hey it's shakycam time. Though whether it's because the Gear is being held by a rather small creature finding it hard to stabilize the camera or because of the GROUND SHAKING, well, you'll have to decide for yourself.
The tail end of an Onix falls into view, slamming into the ground and causing another jolt in the camera, which pans up to the giant rock snake's equally giant head--all 22 feet of somehow living stone rearing up and staring down at...
Thor. Who's grinning madly, hair wild around his head, bracing himself for...oh shit the Onix is lunging is he not going to move?
Nope. Instead of splatting, or even screaming in terror, Thor's hands meet the Onix's face--he twists and forces the snout to the ground. And then he laughs.]
I have bested you again, my friend, though I fear tis only because you allow it.
[There's some good-natured grumbling from the Onix as Thor rubs one of the ridges above its eyes.]
Perhaps someday I will be able to offer more of a challenge for you.
[The camera falls, landing on its side half-propped up in the grass, as an enthusiastic Pichu wearing a red bandana cape leaps out from behind it, squeaking and attaching itself to the Onix's horn, then a blue paw covers the video before it cuts out.]

['Cause yeah, Cap, he knows you're pretty badass. I mean, he's not incredibly troubled by it--he'd be lying if he said it didn't bother him at all but this is definitely a longer-term thing than his stint with having his powers removed before.]

[Steve is bothered by it some, but he used to be so powerless, so the fact that he didn't lose all of the serum is enough for him to be thankful, but Thor definitely lost more than Steve did, and Steve couldn't take on an Onix like that, even with it taking it easy on him]
My gal makes up for where I lack, [pats Grace's head] so there's that.
I mean action oops. SORRY STEVE.
[But it seems to be a thing. He has his little group of lightning-throwers, and then the giant rock snake. It both reminds him of what he's lost, and a way to make up for it.]
I am hardly used to it. When I was banished to Midgard, my weakness was temporary--when I succeeded in proving my worth, the magic my father used was broken and my strength returned. There is no such simple solution this time.
I know I must learn to live with it, until such time as we are sent back. But I am finding it more difficult than I thought I would.
[Oh suddenly deep thoughts.]
Forever Action! I didn't notice it either ahaha
What you are has been changed, it would be hard to adjust, but maybe look at it not as what you lost but what of your limits have changed. Relearn them and challenge them as you would have before. Not as if this is something to just get used to, but just another challenge to overcome.
[he has no idea if that helps, it's how he's been gong about what he's lost, so he hopes it will help, oh but an idea strikes him, and he smiles]
Would you like to train with me? I've been working on increasing my stamina and strength since arriving. We could spar, even go full on fight. I know it's not a solution, but I won't go easy on you.

It would be beneficial to both of us. We cannot afford to let our training lapse, after all.

Though judging from the reactions I have received to this display thus far, perhaps we should not make it known. I have never been scolded for fighting before.
